bruno groening1Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends

Again and again a lady who is member of a Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends is confronting me with arguments in favour of these circles. She was ill and, according to her, she experienced healing through Gröning's (1906 - 1959) heilstrom (healing stream). In her words I can feel the uncertainty of her arguments every time and also the desire for confirmation. I also sense this woman's desire to get away from being tied in this way. "If I left this circle, Gröning would take his healing stream away from me." There is a fear in her of becoming ill again. She lives in dependence.

If we stand in the power of God, experience healing from Him, there is no fear and no dependence for us. The cult of Gröning is spreading, for the circles of friends are represented at all esoteric fairs. They are a typical group of today's esoteric scene. "Bruno Gröning saves the world", one reads in a book of the Circle of Friends. The emblem of the Circle of Friends is a globe around which a ring is placed, in front of which is the silhouette of Gröning. The healer, who was widely known in the 1950s, is still revered as a God-sent "miracle apostle" in "circles of friends" networked throughout Europe. Via small tin foil balls, which he "charged" during his lifetime, a connection to his healing stream can be established.

grete haeusler1For a long time, the overall organisation of the cult-like structured Gröning groups was in the hands of Grete Häusler (1922 - 2007), who developed an independent Bruno Gröning healing doctrine in a multitude of writings. After her death (2007), her son Dieter Häusler took over the leadership of the association. They see themselves as the "new people", chosen to lead the world to salvation. The reason why people, including Catholics, are open to his teachings is because Gröning repeatedly spoke of "Christ". He also spoke of the importance of the Holy Scripture, of the Church and of prayer. But if you look at everything closely - excerpts from his writings show this - you can clearly see all kinds of elements of esotericism, clairvoyance, healing through energy transmission, distant healing, rebirth theory etc.

Since events and information also partly take place in Christian houses, this is considered by many to be a "certificate of harmlessness". Followers have been making pilgrimages to Filzmoos at the foot of the Bischofsmütze for years. Here, homage is paid to Gröning's teachings. The place and the mountain have been chosen as a place of power. "If you get involved with it, power emanates from this mountain. That's why we knew we belonged here," says Grete Häusler, the organiser. These circles describe themselves as "one of the largest associations for healing on the spiritual path worldwide." People with needs and problems seek help and healing here. At the same time, they make themselves dependent on Gröning's so-called healing stream. Here, it is mainly about the healing of physical ailments and the solution of earthly problems.

We all know the word from the Scripture: "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?" Everything that is gained within esotericism for earthly life is at the expense of spirit and soul, is, as it were, a phenomenon shift. With today's religious supermarket, it is no wonder that people look everywhere but no longer there where true salvation is to be found. Here the door is closed to truth, but widely opened to esotericism!

Jesus Christ alone is salvation and healing. Only He can be called the Saviour of the world! In His name lies the power.
