GOD’S REMEDY AGAINST SELF-REJECTION AND ITS DESEASES As already described in the Brochure “The Outstanding Way to Live in Health“, many incurable diseases result from the poisonous root of self-rejection (see p. 12-15). Healing happens through renouncing the negative lying thoughts and by the faithful acceptance of the delivering and healing word of God.
Everything starts with the question of the meaning of our life: What do I live for? What is the meaning of my life? The Catechism gives the following answer: “We are here on earth in order to know and to love God, to do good according to his will, and to go someday to heaven.“ (YC1). St. Paul expresses the meaning of life as such: “... and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.“ (Gal 2:20) The first meaning of our life thus consists in recognizing God, who himself is LOVE (cf. 1 Jn 4:16) and loves me/you with His infinite love. We may deeply absorb this truth in us: God really loves me – namely the way I am! In life, however, we often come across a lot of rejection – be it in the parental home or in society. This may have the consequence that in our innermost being we have doubts as to whether God really loves us. Furthermore, we live in a culture where everything must be bitterly earned. We then unconscientiously transfer this onto God and mistakenly think that we would have to earn Heaven, because God is strict and punishing. Out of this misconception, many fall prey to perfectionism, to win the love of God and of people through performance. One consequence of this may be a strong state of exhaustion. Christianity, however, is a religion of the Merciful God, where God offers us the forgiveness of sins in Jesus Himself and eventually gives us Heaven as a gift. All the rejection we suffered can make us feel unloved, worthless, out of place.; as a consequence, this may trigger and intense self-rejection. This wound of rejection consists of many lying ties which act like curses and cause physical illness. What follows is sicknesses such as rashes, migrane, unconsciousness, sleep disorders, epilepsy, loss of memory, numbness, poor vision, impotence, heart diseases, auto-immune diseases etc.. Moreover, one may also be plagued by the fear of renewed rejection, become bitter in the case of every new wound or fall into addictions to find supposed consolation. But there is a way out: It consists in accepting the eternal love of God. This way is long, namely from our head to our heart. It is not sufficient to know in one’s head “God loves me! “ to become healthy. No, this thought must enter deeply into our heart. This happens when we take the word of God as our daily medicine, three times daily or more often. Testimonies of healings which sound incredible render proof of the fact that God’s love still works miracles also today, where no human person may help any more.
All wounds on a physical, emotional and spiritual level go back to a lack of real love and natural dedication. Lovelessness inflicts deepest wounds. We stem from a God who is love, who created us to love and has determined us to unfold in love. We, however, have by far too much grown up in a loveless world and environment, in which the Ten Commandments and the Gospel are no longer lived. Because of this we are spiritually and physically hurt and wounded in many ways. The wound of rejection arises earliest of all wounds. As early as in the mother’s womb everything the mother and her environment do and think is transferred one to one onto the child. As the feeling and the fact of not being allowed to exist inflict the deepest wounds, they result into the strongest misforms as well as spiritual/mental diseases and physical illnesses, which often take root in and are burnt into the inner being of man in the form of the following “beliefs“:
Prayer: Jesus, in Your name, I renounce the spirit of self-rejection (of self-hatred, of death, of suicidal thoughts), I revoke the tie of....., I seal myself in Your Holy Wounds and ask for the spirit of love!
After having extracted the poisonous root of self-rejection, it is now necessary to accept the love of God through the medicine of the word of God to become fully healthy. God himself wants to give us health when we listen to him: “My son (my daughter), be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh.“ (Prov 4:20-22) This bible quotation includes four precise instructions to take God’s word as a medicine for our body. These are: 1. Be Attentive to My Words When God speaks he demands our undivided attention. Switch off the radio, TV, mobile, any “background music“ to listen with both ears to what God wants to tell you. Because the key to biblical healing is HEARING, in fact with two ears. It is also the key to receive faith. As faith comes from HEARING (cf. Rom 10:17). Faith, in turn, enables us to receive healing, which God has in place for us, and to benefit from His remedy. It is so beautiful to know: Faith comes! You do not have to despair! Because when we hear God and continuously stay in the hearing, faith starts to grow. And faith gives us healing from our infirmities and sufferings. 2. Incline Your Ear God expects our willingness to be taught. Thus, incline your ear, give up your prejudice, your own ideas and stubbornness. The word of God may only become effective in us to the extent we accept it. If we do not acccept it, it will be of no use to us. 3. Let Them Not Escape Your Sight Be simple and plain. Read the bible the way it is written, and believe that it means what it is saying. Lay aside the main impediments, intellectual pride and scientific-rational thinking. Adopt the attitude of a child, which accepts the word of God faithfully, without being smart and says: This is what God says to me. Because “Let no one deceive himself. If any one among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.“ (1 Cor 3:18) 4. Keep Them Within Your Heart Certain types of medication must enter into the blood circulation to become effective. In the same way, God’s medicine will only be effective if it enters our heart. – There are some things in our innermost which we ourselves are not able to fully comprehend. But the word of God can open it up for us and penetrates the innermost area of our personality. It virtually touches the spiritual and physical area of our person. There is nothing that is out of its reach.
When someone cannot forgive themselves: * ”And he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (Rev 21:5) When someone feels rejected: * ”The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.” (Is 49:1b) When someone does not feel loved, feels like a loser: * “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.“ (Jer 31:3) When someone considers themselves worthless and ugly: * ”I praise thee, for thou art fearful and wonderful. Wonderful are thy works! Thou knowest me right well.” (Ps 139:14)
