What is the Purpose of the "Segenskreis"
(Blessing Circle)?
All those who have joined the “Segenskreis“ (Blessing Circle) receive God's blessing daily. The priests of the “Segenskreis“ (Blessing Circle) - they have the authority to bless from Jesus - administer the blessing in the morning and in the evening. When the priest blesses, it is Jesus Christ Himself who blesses through the priest.
God wants to give us abundant gifts through His blessing. In doing so, He respects our free will. Therefore, we should again and again ask Him for it with childlike faith, and thus open ourselves to His powerful help. Furthermore, every Christian has received the power of grace to bless through baptism. Use this great source of grace and bless your family members, friends and also enemies every day.
Our motto is:
“Do not return evil for evil or reviling for reviling; but on the contrary bless, for to this you have been called, that you may obtain a blessing.“ (1 Pt 3:9)
Prayer of blessing to receive the blessing:
Through the priests of the “Segenskreis“, the Almighty God may bless me:
† the Father and † the Son and † the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Blessing:
The blessing † of the Father, the love † of the Son, the power † of the Holy Spirit, the motherly protection of the Queen of Heaven, the fatherly power of St. Joseph, the help of the Holy Angels and the intercession of the Saints be with us (you/me/them) and may accompany us (you/me/them) everywhere and at all times! Amen.

Dear friends of the “Segenskreis“!
We ask you to only register people who know about it and want to do so. All registered persons are entered with their name and address in a confidential list of the “Segenskreis“, receive a personal confirmation with their name and blessing formula and usually are sent the circular letter of the Brüder Samariter FLUHM once a year (at Christmas).
If you want to do something pastorally good for other people, you can also receive the blessing on their behalf. A registration without the knowledge and will of the person concerned does not bring much in the sense of the intentions of the blessing circle; the members are to include themselves "consciously and full of trust" in the blessing and thus also acquire a certain spirituality, which has the blessing and being blessed as its content.
